Two hours north of Dovre is Surnadal. A municipality with 6000 inhabitants, and 455 km with forest.

In Surnadal we find local sawmills, which have delivered timber to Norwegian cabins and houses for generations.

​

The timber that cannot be used for cabins is often burned.
