Two hours north of Dovre is Surnadal. A municipality with 6000 inhabitants, and 455 km with forest.
In Surnadal we find local sawmills, which have delivered timber to Norwegian cabins and houses for generations.
The timber that cannot be used for cabins is often burned.
In this timber we saw a unique potential.
The potential to become vibrant products, where cracks and colors change over time.
